Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Our Week's Learning
This week we have been very busy, starting with our Harvest Service on Monday. It was lovely to share our learning with our families. We sang "The Enormous Turnip" and showed our families our observational drawings of turnips.
We have also been drawing ourselves in art in our first self-portrait...
In Literacy we have been learning about the Oxford Reading Tree family and have made our own character books during our choosing time.
"I liked making a book. I did two people." Wesley said.
In Phonics we have been working on our listening ears. This week we had to play musical instruments loudly and quietly and try to copy simple beats and rhythms...
"I liked playing the Boomwhackers with Esme." Grace C told us.
In Maths we have been showing Mrs Walker and Mrs Smart what we can do when ordering numbers.
Other activities we have enjoyed this week are...
"I liked playing playdough with Emma. I maked a Teddy bear." Kacy.
"On Monday a drawed a volcano. It was my favourite thing." Bradley.
