Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Measuring

Last week we discovered that grizzly bears are 3 metres tall! We made a class bear using paper. He is stuck to the wall but he is so big that his head is up onto the ceiling! Next we made cubs out of paper (they are 1 metre tall) and labelled body parts using the sounds we are learning in Phonics.

Then we decided to measure ourselves!! The children loved prediciting who was the tallest and who was the shortest. Above is a photo showing the children discussing each other's weights. The children were excited to hear that some of them were the same height as their friend!
