Bananas in Pyjamas - and other fun news

"Bananas in Pyjamas"

Miss Wells and I had a surprise for the children and staff this week as we dressed up in banana costumes and added our dressing gowns to become, "Bananas in Pyjamas" as we joined in with the Year 2 fantastic finish! The children loved it and we wished we had had a camera with us to capture some of the adult expressions! It has been a fun few weeks with the great "Spotacular" last week for Children in Need.

Next week we start learning about advent and how it helps us prepare for Christmas, so do check out the Christmas newsletter for the forthcoming fun filled weeks ahead. Don't forget the PTA Christmas Fair on the 9th December.

As well as having fun we have also been talking to the children about keeping safe in school, out and about and using the internet. Part of this was an assembly from the NSPCC with their mascot Buddy the speech bubble, whose motto was, "SPEAK OUT. STAY SAFE." Please do encourage the children to tell you about it.
