Here comes half term!
Another busy week at Nyewood. We had attendance worship this week and it was lovely to celebrate so many children being in school every day or nearly every day with certificates. The competition is on as to which class will recieve the best attendance award at the end of term.
This week was also parent consultations and it was great to meet so many of you over the two evenings and catch a quick word. Don't forget to log onto 'Parent View' and give your views about the school.
School Council enjoyed their first formal meeting and were excited to sit in the orange and grey chairs of the meeting room to discuss and share their ideas and understanding of our school values.
The staff and children said goodbye to Mrs Banks, one of our specialist TAs, after 12 amazing years of service. As we said at her leaving worship: although we are sad and waving goodbye there will be another commuity she will be joining who will be cheering and waving and welcoming her with open arms.
Enjoy the half term break and we look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 31st October. Don't forget to look out for a school newsletter that week.
