Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Headteacher’s Blog Post

Happy Half-Term Holiday!

A busy last day before we break up for half term. We started the morning with an attendence worship with almost 70% of the school getting a certificate or sticker for their great attendence. I appreciate that with all the bugs we have had at school this half term it was an amazing feat. Well Done Everyone!

We then had a first for out of school celebrations, which was a child from Apple Class with a Young Achiever Certificate 2017, awarded by Bognor Regis Town Council, for all their hard work on their allotment! The child spoke enthusiastically about all the different fruits and vegetables they grew and how much pleasure they got from doing it. It certainly sparked a lot of interest across the school. It is always lovely to celebrate our childrens' gifts and talents that shine outside of school, so do send them in on a Friday.

It has been lovely to see so many of you during parent consultations this week and to hear parents telling their children how well they have done and watching the wonderful smiles beaming in response.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful family break and we look forward to seeing you all on the first Monday back for another action packed half term which will hurtle us towards the seasons of Advent and Christmas.
